PSSI’s NATO Summer School: “Security Challenges in XXI Century”

Topics: The main objective of the summer school is to offer a high-profile study course for students of graduate programs, based on presentations, interactive workshops and simulations with international security experts from academia and government. The main topics of this year’s summer school will be: NATO’s Future; NATO Missions: Peace Support Operations, Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Energy Security: Policy Framework, Critical Infrastructure Protection. Invited speakers include: Petr Luňák (IS NATO); Karel Hirman (SIEA, Bratislava); Václav Bartuška (MFA, Prague); Ivan Dvořák (MOD, Prague); Oldřich Bureš (Metropolitan University, Prague); Petr Suchý (Masaryk University, Brno); Tomáš Karásek (Charles University, Praha); Vít Střítecký (IIR, Prague), Andrej Nosko (CEU, Budapest).
Fee: Registration fee amounts to 1500,- Kc / 60€. Accommodation and meals will be fully covered by organizers; foreign participants’ travel expenses will be partially reimbursed.
